Acoustic project documentation

Detailed acoustic design at the architectural and mechanical project stage — performance calculation with simulation software, material lists and installation drawings.

Summary

Acoustic project documentation is the translation of acoustic requirements into detailed design at the architectural and mechanical project stage. Build sections, material lists, installation detail drawings, simulation reports and performance calculations are prepared together. Solving acoustic problems after the building is finished is far more expensive than designing it correctly from day one.

What is an acoustic project?

An acoustic project is the engineering dossier that documents a building or facility's acoustic requirements through detailed drawings, calculations and material lists. Prepared in parallel with architectural and mechanical projects, it is followed by the supervising engineer during construction.

Project phases

  1. Existing-state analysis: space type, intended use, environmental conditions
  2. Performance-target definition: Rw, RT60, NC, STI parameters
  3. Build-section design: wall, ceiling, floor, door details
  4. Simulation verification: with ODEON, EASE, INSUL
  5. Material list: certified products, quantity, thickness
  6. Installation detail drawings: 1/10 - 1/20 scale
  7. Specification: application requirements

Software we use

  • ODEON: room acoustic simulation (RT60, STI)
  • EASE: concert and stage loudspeaker design
  • INSUL: Rw of building elements
  • SoundPLAN / CadnaA: environmental noise mapping
  • AutoCAD / Revit: architectural + acoustic coordination

Project deliverable format

  • Description report (PDF, typically 30-80 pages)
  • Detail drawings (PDF + DWG)
  • Material list (Excel)
  • Simulation screen captures
  • Build-section visuals (3D render)
  • Specification text

Early phase vs late phase

An acoustic project delivers the highest value when carried out at the design phase. After architectural decisions are made, acoustic intervention can double the building budget. Early-phase design lays out the right wall thickness, the right facade system and the right ventilation duct from the start.

Lead time and cost

A single space (room/studio) project 1-3 weeks. A building project 4-12 weeks. An industrial facility 8-20 weeks. Investment is 0.5-2% of the construction budget; it saves on construction cost.

Certificate

The design dossier is delivered with the engineer's signature and chamber-registered diploma number. It is valid in building-inspection, acoustic-supervisor and insurance processes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Acoustic project design — which materials do you use?
Depending on project requirements, we use acoustic foam, barrier-backed foam, lead/EPDM barrier, elastomeric rubber, rock wool and double-layer plasterboard systems. All our materials carry international fire-resistance certifications.
How much noise reduction do I get after the application?
It varies according to the existing structure, the adjacent noise level and the target use. Typical residential applications achieve 25-40 dB and industrial projects 35-55 dB. The exact value is confirmed by acoustic measurement.
Do I need to move my existing furniture?
It is enough to clear sufficient space so we can work in the application area. Our installation team takes protective measures for furniture; for small applications minimal rearrangement is sufficient.
How can I request a quote?
You can reach us by phone (+90 530 044 09 90), WhatsApp or our contact form. After a brief conversation we schedule an on-site survey.
